Josh Goodbody

Chief Operating Officer

Josh Goodbody is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of BasedAI, where he leads the company's product, operations, and marketing functions.

Josh is also the co-founder and CEO of Warden Labs, the team behind the Warden App, whose core IP and multi-agent orchestration stack were acquired by BasedAI and integrated into its vertical AI stack.

Previously, Josh was Chief Operating Officer of Qredo, a London-based custody and infrastructure provider. Before that, he led and scaled EMEA regional markets teams at Binance, building teams and launching new markets, and earlier served at Huobi Global — joining as Global General Counsel before leading its Global Institutional Business and helping build its derivatives markets platform.

Josh began his career as a derivatives and financial-markets lawyer, holding General Counsel roles in fintech and working across the commodities and derivatives sector, with experience spanning J.P. Morgan, State Street, and BNP Paribas.

A frequent commentator on digital assets, market structure, and the commercialization of open-source AI, Josh has spoken at conferences around the world.
